Join Euroapi, as an Analytical Development Lead. You will lead a team as part of an R&D centre of excellence in a newly formed CDMO. We work passionately to develop, manufacture, and supply active ingredient solutions for our healthcare partners around the world. Your ResponsibilitiesYou will: Lead a small team of analytical chemists ensuring their development, project delivery, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.Assess analytical work requests for urgency and assess whether the work can be undertaken in the department, negotiating with stakeholders.Assess transfer feasibility, development requirements and readiness for transfer to QC. Perform method development, troubleshooting and train junior members of the team.Provide expert guidance for scientifically sound and phase appropriate approaches to enable effective analytical technology transfer, working with new business and clients.Manage analytical technology transfers, proposals & planning. The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for forty years, located fifteen miles east of Cambridge and sixty miles north of London, within the golden triangle. It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Flow Chemistry, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Spray Drying and as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO). Haverhill is proud to house the world's largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and rare disease medicines supporting global markets. The site also offers a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.
Our Requirements PhD or extensive industrial experience in Analytical Chemistry.
Method Validation and Method Development (preferably within a CDMO setting).
Analytical technology transfer expertise gained in a GMP certified laboratory environment.
Analytical method development experience.
Experience of developing people and effective client or stakeholder management.
