Job Title: Analytical Chemist

Location: South West Cambridgeshire

Salary: GBP25,000 – GBP30,000 (Dependant on experience)

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday – Friday

About the role:

We are recruiting for Analytical Chemists with at least 2 – 3 years of industry experience. Experience in the Pharma industry would be an advantage, but my client would also consider candidates who have worked in other laboratories such as food and environmental testing labs.

Responsibilities of the Analytical Chemist:

Carry out analytical testing on pharmaceutical products, according to cGMP standardsCarry out quantitative measuring of compounds in an array of formulations, assisting product development, batch certification and stability testingFollow all working instructions and communicate well within your team and with other departmentsDocument and report all analytical activities and results accurately. The Analytical Chemist will have the following skills and experience:

Be degree qualified in Chemistry or equivalent with at least three years of industry experienceHave analytical chemistry knowledge with experience of techniques such HPLC, GC and ICIdeally previous experience of working in a cGMP LaboratoryHave the desire to learn and develop Have excellent communication skills Please apply online if you feel you match the criteria and want to work for a growing, forward thinking company.
