Graduate Analytical Chemist

Full–time and PermanentLocation: ChelmsfordStart in January/February 2024 Reed Scientific is partnering with a well established global organisation providing solutions to the agrochemical sector. They are now looking for a scientist keen to further develop their analytical skills including extraction methodology and chromatographic techniques.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Developing, optimising and validating analytical methodsUsing LC–MS/MS and GC/MS techniquesWorking to the GLP regulationsHomogenise, extract, clean–up and analyse crop and soil samplesAssisting in a variety of projectsReviewing data for accuracy, completeness and complianceDrafting study reports The candidate:

BSc level degree or higher in Chemistry, Forensic and Analytical Science, Environmental Chemistry, or similarMinimum 1 year of analytical chemistry experience working in a laboratoryAnalytical laboratory skills such as LC–MS/MS and GC/MSExperience working to GLP regulations is desired, but not requiredExcellent communication skills Benefits:
