We are looking for a full-time Anaesthetic Practitioner or ODP to work in the theatres of a leading private hospital in Central London. The role comes with a salary of up to 45,000 and a generous benefits package.
The overall responsibility of the Anaesthetic Practitioner or ODP is to assist the anaesthetist in the administration of anaesthetic during surgery. In your role as an anaesthetic nurse you will report into the Senior team and be responsible for planning and delivering appropriate care. Part of your day to day as an Anaesthetic Practitioner or ODP, will involve preparing the anaesthetic room according to the individual needs of the patient and Anaesthetist, ensuring all equipment is checked prior to use and any faults reported to the Theatre Co-ordinator immediately, and preparing patients and providing assistance for clinical/operative procedures. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining patient records and responding to any queries and complaints.
You will be required to be a Registered RGN with NMC pin number and a post grad qualification in Anaesthetics or an ODP with HCPC registration. With experience working in a Theatre setting across multiple specialties and keeping up to date with current practices and procedure guidelines.
