Next, click “File” and choose “Import” to start the import process. Select “Family Tree Maker” as the data source to ensure

compatibility with your FTM file. You’ll then need to either specify the location of your FTM file or search for it. Once located, select the file and click “Open,” followed by “OK” to begin the import.
