LEARN THE BHAGAVAD GEETA (CHAPTER 2) AND SIMPLE SAMSKRITAM

This is the third of 16 courses that comprise the Certificate Program in Bhagavad Geeta through Samskritam. Students will be introduced to the Bhagavad Geeta (Chapter 2) as well as basic Samskritam in this Course.

This course is a component of the Certificate Program in Bhagavad Geeta through Sanskrit-Beginner Phase.

Learn Bhagavad Geeta (Chapter 2) and basic Samskritam.

Description of the Course:

Students will be introduced to the Bhagavad Geeta (Chapter 2) as well as basic Samskritam in this Course. The Bhagavad Geeta passages will be used to demonstrate basic Sanskrit language structures. Students will quickly become acquainted with the script and expand their vocabulary. Each verse of the Bhagavad Geeta will be discussed using customized handouts to reveal both the meaning of the verse and the structure of the language. Students will learn to think about the Bhagavad Geeta and the worldview that it expresses in Sanskrit.
