Our full wheel refurbish process requires the following.
The removal of the tyre.
Removal of all old paint and corrosion by chemical stripping and fine abrasive blasting.
Hand preparation to remove kerb damage and reprofile rim faces.
Application of anti corrosion powder primer of entire wheel.
The Colour coat.
Powder coat lacquer of the entire wheel on the front face, back dish and inside edges where the tyre seals. This is important to ensure the wheel holds constant air pressure.
The tyres are then refitted and balanced ready to go.
This is NOT a cosmetic blow in, or a refurb without removing the wheel from the car.
To do the job right you MUST remove the tyres, old paint and corrosion other wise it will return or start to flake off in a short period of time.
Superfine sandblasting, brake caliper painting and general powdercoating also available.
