This has been my daily runner for the last 8 years covering 20k miles a year but it is now sadly sat unused on my drive….
Just been serviced and MOT’d in September ready for another year on the road when the turbo decided to pack in on a trip back from Scotland! A replacement power steering pipe is also required as I’ve been told there is a leak on this…..probably about £1k needing to be spent.
I am open to offers for anyone interested in this future classic and getting it back on the road rather than me breaking for spares/repairs…. I don’t have the time to take this on and now no longer have drive space after buying a new car so unfortunately need it to go….
The car has been well looked after and comes with a full service history and with an extensive list of receipts since my ownership. I am the 3rd owner. I’ve had it since 45k miles and it had full history prior to my ownership….
I had a replacement engine installed in August 2020 (source engine verified with 70k miles at install date). Works also carried out at this time included new cambelt, dual mass flywheel and clutch….all in £2k spent for this and all works carried out by a well respected local garage and all receipts present. The car has since covered another 60k miles with no issues other than the usual wear and tear items and has been a great car for me the last 8 years.
The car bodywork is excellent for its age and has the usual scuffs here and there. Alloy wheels were recently refurbished and are in generally excellent condition. One wheel has slight kerbing. The rear brake light has a small crack/hole.
Inside the car is very clean and generally in excellent condition. Much to my annoyance the drivers seat does have a tear from a sharp object that I forgot was in my pocket when I sat down in the car!!!!...This could probably be repaired. Other than that really good condition inside
MOT in mid August 2023 included new front discs and pads, May 2023 rear calipers replaced. New front tyres, rears in good condition.
