I am currently undertaking my PhD (Materials Engineering) project and want to inspire and help students with their scientific knowledge. I have completed my undergraduate degree in Chemistry MSci from the University of Birmingham. I studied Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology at A-Level at a Grammar School. I have 7 A*, 3 A at GCSE.
I can teach A-level Chemistry, GCSE Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Maths.
I charge £27 for A-level Chemistry and £23 for GCSE level. I am happy to travel within the West Midlands or online lessons through Zoom. For the first lesson I will only charge £20.
I have taught laboratory modules to undergraduate STEM students. I have also supervised undergraduate students in their final year BSc projects to achieve Firsts. Now, I want to help the next generation of students with their school work.
I want the student understand the topic first and then completing past paper questions is a good approach. I can also tutor to what suits the student best as I know each student has their own way of thinking. I will ask for Exam Board details and go over the syllabus with the student and ensure that all topics are covered and mark past paper questions for them.
