After School Care Role
Location: Truro
Contract Type: Part-Time (15:30pm-17:00pm)
Salary: GBP12 per hour
Start Date: January 2024

This incredible opportunity means you are responsible to supervise and actively engage with students. This can be a vulnerable time for students waiting for collection from guardians which means our perfect candidate would be mindful, kind, respectful, and inclusive. You will strive to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all children, ensuring their well-being and happiness while at the after-school club.
About the school
We work with multiple schools in Cornwall and surrounding areas and currently have one school in particular that are looking for After-School care to support with the club. The ideal candidate for our partner schools will have experience caring or working within an educational setting and will work efficiently as part of a team and as an individual. You must be able to follow instructions and provide the necessary support to students. If the role, and flexibility, appeals to you then apply to join our well-established team of supply staff.

To be considered for the role you will:
Have a passion for supporting and helping students.Be dedicated to improving outcomes for all students.Be committed to providing a mindful and safe environment for students.Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service. Have a desire to work within education. Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
