About the role
You will be required to:
Drive assurance preparation activities to ensure that Adult Social Care are adequately prepared to evidence how we meet our statutory responsibilities under the Care Act 2014. Co-ordinate all activities in relation to the Care Quality Commission assurance of the Local Authority. Develop processes for ongoing self-assessment, and to have oversight of our self-assessment narrative, evidence framework and improvement planning. Build internal and external relationships. Provide assurance to the directorate leadership team relating to robust collection and quality assurance of evidence to support our self-assessment. About you
You will have:
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment Passion to promote people's strengths and the ability to make a difference. An in-depth working knowledge of CQC Assurance, Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and DOLS and LPS. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and educated to degree level.
