A skilled Audio-Typist is needed for a busy office, to work in an administration capacity supporting an established and growing team.
The right individual will be skilled and experienced in Audio-Typing as this is a core part of the role, and candidates without previous experience in this will not be considered due to it's essential part in the position.
The other core skill required is use of Microsoft Excel, with candidates needing to be confident and skilled in using this daily in the role.
This position is open to being a hybrid role - a minimum of 3 days on site in the Exeter office, and up to 2 days working from home. Candidates should be able to reach the site for a full-time position working in an office with colleagues, and the exact days of home working and office working will be arranged depending on the individual's circumstances and in line with the needs of the team.
The role will involve:
- audio-typing of long reports
- general administration
- daily use of microsoft excel
- emails
- scanning and photocopying
- diary management
- answering telephone calls and taking messages
- arranging appointments for site visits
- updating the company calendar (using Outlook)
Key Skills and experience:
- Audio-Typing
- Strong computer literacy
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role which includes Audio-Typing within the position
- Fast and efficient typing skills
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
