Hours are preferably 8:30 am - 1 pm, Monday - Thursday. There is some flexibility, and the role may evolve into a full-time position.
THE JOB:
There will be consistent coordination with other team members throughout the day, you will be the sole individual based in the office, as others are primarily field-based.
- Organise and coordinate engineers' schedules to optimise efficiency.
- Ensure all necessary equipment is dispatched to sites in advance of engineer attendance.
- Maintain and update stock of equipment to sufficient levels so that the office is not overcrowded.
- Ensure that all engineering tools fully comply with industry standards throughout the year.
- Implement and maintain processes to guarantee continuous compliance.
- Act as a liaison between the office and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with team members to address any scheduling or equipment-related issues promptly.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Administration experience, ideally within the service industry.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- £18,000 based on 18 hours per week (equivalent to approximately £32,000 per annum)
- 25 days holidays + public holidays + time off over Christmas and New Year.
