Smart Solutions are working with an large public sector client who are seeking an experienced Admin Manager to join their team, based at Aberystwyth. The role is a fixed term contract until 31 March 2024. The role will involve assisting with the coordination of, the administrative support function for the site to ensure the effective and efficient administrative processes.
Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4pm Friday.
Duties of the Admin Manager:
To provide day to day line management (excluding discipline) for the admin staff within the site, including annual leave, sickness management and PDRs.
Support the monthly budget monitoring report for the site.
To coordinate the Pool Car Management System.
To organise and attend team meetings, taking minutes and actions when required.
Maintain Petty Cash float and processing of all claims including the cashing in personally at the bank.
Requirements of the Admin Manager:
Proven experience within a similar administrative management level role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence, decisiveness and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Exceptional decision-making and ability to consider how to apply new initiatives or policies.
