An old vintage Adams ware jug in dark blue made in Tunstall, Staffordshire. These were made to resemble Wedgwood and were the lookalikes back in the day.
It has the Adams Estab 1657 logo and Tunstall England stamped into it’s base.
The white relief motifs depict a hunting scene. There is some cracking of the motifs due to age.
It has no chips or cracks to the body of the jug or to it’s handle.
Research tells me as far as I can make out that this was made around the early 1900s.
Widest part of jug not including handle is approx 5”, height is 4.5”, end of handle to widest part of jug is 6.5”
Cash on collection preferred due to the nature of the item but postage/PayPal could be arranged at the appropriate cost.
