About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic community engagement technician with a passion for community engagement and an interest in Active Travel

You will be required to assist the design engineer and deliver PCC community engagement activities throughout the development of active travel schemes from concept to construction. This will involve a range of engagement methods from digital to in person events.

About you:

Experience in community engagement

Ability to engage with a range of audiences

Ideally you will some knowledge of Active travel and an interest in cycling or walking

ability to communicate and liaise with communities and stakeholders to develop innovative active travel schemes

What you will do:

Assist in the development of Active Travel schemes in conjunction with the Active Travel team and the design engineer.

Undertake a range of community activities to assist in the development of Active Travel schemes via digital engagement, on-line and face to face meetings and public meetings.

Liaise with communities and stakeholders throughout design process to facilitate community and stakeholder input into the design process.
