Your new companyAn exciting opportunity has arisen, as Hays has partnered with a well–established non– profit institution to seek a Finance Assistant who will specialise in Accounts Receivable duties within the finance team. The role is permanent and, depending on preference, you can work between 30 and 37 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Full training will be provided, and you will be entitled to AAT support, should you wish to embark on the qualification alongside being a Finance Assistant (Accounts Receivable).

Your new roleAs a Finance Assistant (Accounts Receivable), you will be responsible for the following duties:

Chasing debtDealing with local authorities, trading and letsTo process sales invoices accuratelyYou will liaise with other departments to resolve potential billing issuesTo maintain accurate records of all the accounts receivable transactions that have been madeYou will also prepare reports and assist with any other ad hoc accounting tasks as necessary What you'll need to succeed

Previous admin or finance experience To have used finance systems such as, Sage, Xero or Microsoft Business CentralTo either hold the Level 2 AAT Qualification or ideally be studying towards your Level 3 AAT qualificationA passion for accuracy when it comes to data inputTo be a team player and effective communicator What you'll get in return
