Accounts Payable Assistant Team Manager
Summary
GBP40,700 up to GBP50,600 per annum - This isn't 9-5. This is making the most of every day.
We are looking for a confident, motivated and experience Accounts Payable Assistant Team Manager. This is an ideal role for a technically minded, proactive and enthusiastic team player.
You will be joining our Head Office Accounting team, based in Tolworth. A highly organised, vibrant and fast paced department, responsible for ensuring cost & investment invoices are processed on time, as well as managing the key user process for the accounting systems and our standing data management process.
With your conscientious nature, exceptional organisational skills, and impeccable attention to detail you will play a key role in driving the performance of your department. If you thrive in a deadline oriented, fast-moving, system driven environment, this may be an ideal role for you.
We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. What you'll do
• Line managing a small team of people (approx 6-8)
• Ensuring invoices are processed in line with SLA's and KPI's
• Consulting with suppliers, internal colleagues and attending cross departmental meetings
• Managing the standing data processes for debtors & creditors
• Key User for SAP FI, invoice processing and approval systems including user management, user support and system updates
• Delivering training to colleagues across the business on invoice approval system
• Prioritising conflicting deadlines, organising and following up the tasks of the team
• Further developing and optimising processes
• General admin duties
What you'll need
• Experience of leading a team in an Accounts Payable environment is desirable
• Strong numerical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Outstanding organisation and multi-tasking skills to prioritise conflicting deadlines and ad-hoc tasks
• Excellent IT skills including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot, formulas including look ups, sum ifs etc)
• A confident communicator, able to communicate with internal, external and international partners
• Flexible, used to problem solving and capable of demonstrating initiative
• A dynamic, confident approach to resolving queries
