Description

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.Coordinate and complete annual audits.Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.Develop periodic reports for management.Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data. A successful Accounts Manager should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional certification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA).Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks.Superior understanding of financial and accounting principles.Strong leadership skills and experience.Proficiency in accounting software.
