Job Description:We are seeking a detail–oriented and experienced Property Management and accounting assistant to join a small family run Property Management company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial record keeping, property management, IT and general office operations. They will be self–motivated, flexible, with a desire to work in a small company. The company is small and requires the assistant to support implementing basic company structures and procedures.
Location: Barnet – Office based to start with, with potential remote optionHours: Temporary Vacancy – 10–16 hours (1 – 2 days per week)Salary: Depending on experience
Responsibilities:Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including purchases, sales, invoicing, and payments. Prepare and send invoices, ensuring timely payments. Respond to ad hoc requests for basic financial analysis.
Property Management: Manage financial aspects of property management. This includes dealing with contractors for maintenance issues, writing correspondence for lawyers, agents, and advertising properties. This also includes providing advice on relevant legislation and tenancy agreements.
Administration: Preparing contracts and processing documents. Assist in preparing contracts, processing documents, administering payments, and resolving rent discrepancies. Maintaining files and documentation. Basic IT support, filing and data storage.
Assistant services: As required, respond to ad hoc requests in support of the managing director.
