Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working in partnership with a well-known business based in the Knaresborough area as they look to bring on-board an experienced Accounts Assistant to their growing team!
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years experience working within a busy finance function providing support across a variety of tasks including purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and finance admin duties such as petty cash management, expenses and supporting the wider team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is very keen to progress quickly within an ever-growing company, with full study support to help along the way. You will report directly to the Financial Manager, and hold responsibility for;
Reviewing and posting all Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger invoicesChasing and securing overdue paymentsFirst point of contact for customer invoice queries / supplier queriesSetting up credit checks / client onboardingRegular review of client credit facilitiesEntering daily bank transactionsReconciling bank accounts dailyProcessing of daily / weekly bookkeeping routines (such as Credit Cards)Contributing to the month end process Person specification;
Experience working within a busy finance functionAbility to work well towards strict deadlinesExcellent communication skillsEducated to GCSE level A-C Maths & English Strong systems skills including Excel (SAGE would be beneficial but not essential)
