Your new companyThis innovative engineering company based in the Stockport area is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. Your new roleOn a day-to-day basis, you will be responsibile for:Purchase ledger
Match and process purchase invoicesSupplier statement reconciliationPrepare Supplier payment listLiaise with suppliers to answer queriesSet up new suppliers Sales Ledger
Raise sales orders and send out sales invoicesCredit control Other duties
Manage petty cashProcess expensesReconciliation of credit card statementBook travel and accommodationAnswer phonesGreet visitors What you'll need to succeedYou will need to have strong communication skills with a friendly/enthusiastic manner and the ability to get involved with all tasks to be a real team player. If you have finance experience in a similar role, this will be highly advantageous to your application. What you'll get in returnYou will receive the equivalent of a competitive annual salary of up to GBP28000 depending on experience. The role will be fully office based, but there is plenty of opportunity to develop with training and support provided for you to expand your skill set.
