The Role:
Dot–The–Eye Ltd are looking to employ a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Business Facilities, and Finance Team.
We are looking for someone to work every weekday, but there could be some flexibility in the specific hours for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
Preparing invoices, receipts, and credit notes for Dot–The–Eye and customers that are not auto–generated.Data entry of bills and invoices into Xero.Track incomings and outgoings for various accounts.Undertake credit control for all areas, including chasing bad debts.Completing supplier application forms, as required.Monitor the bank accounts.Managing petty cash.Ensuring the correct filing of financial documentation.Answering queries from our customers and stakeholders, both via email and phone.Perform core business admin tasks as required to cover team absence.Assisting the Managing Director and other members of staff as required.Liaising with 3rd parties as required. The key skills and qualities for this role are:
AAT Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent experience.Knowledge of Cloud accounting packages, preferably Xero.High level of written and spoken English.Proactive and self–motivated, capable of using own initiative when required.Outgoing and comfortable, liaising with a range of individuals from differing backgrounds. Competent and polite phone manner.Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances. Experience within a small company working environment beneficial.Experience with the Microsoft Office software package, particularly Excel.Positive attitude to learning and development, with an enthusiasm to learn both on the job, and in a structured environment.Attention to detail. Finding the right person with the right attitude who will fit into the team is very important to us.
