Accountant required to work for a world leading manufacturing business based near Farnborough, you will ensure meeting its internal and external reporting requirements; the reports are accurate in time improving the performance. You will have a proven background of accounting within a busy organisation ideally within manufacturing or engineering sectors. Also a history of working with suppliers both in the UK and internationally across multiple business sites.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accountsMonth end business unit reporting including pricing analysis.Reconcile inventory accounts.Preparation of weekly short term forecast and comparison to previous submissions.Assisting with annual budget process, including internal reporting requiredLiaise with cost centre managers for completion of accurate budgets.Cost centre reportingReconciliation of the data to reported numbers.Ensuring data accuracy and completeness, reviewing standard costs and investigate significant variances.Review of cycle count variances and processes, assisting with corrective actionsBalance sheet reconciliationsAssist with internal and external audits.Qualifications /Experience
