Accountant

Salary: 30k+

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Full time working hours

Our client provides efficient and excellent management services to their clients and work alongside professionals and authorities to ensure that they have the best strategies to support across the area.

We are looking for a Senior Accounts person to join the team, and become part of a company that wants to be involved with improving issues within society and tackling challenges head on for the good of their customers. Become a part of small team and make the role your own as you will receive flexibility and creative license to provide your own touch to the role.

The Key Duties of the Accountant role

Maintain & track:

Rent records across various portfoliosExpenditure records across various portfoliosProfit & loss records across various portfoliosEnsure periodic income of rental revenueFollow up on any rental arrears with councils, tenants & managing agents, ensuring they are cleared at the earliest

Daily, weekly & monthly reporting of:

Rental summary per portfolioExpenses incurred per portfolioForecast the rent generation, profit & loss projections

The Key Requirements of the Accountant role

AAT Qualified or Equivalent required2-3 years of experience within an Accounts roleUse of accountancy packages such as Sage or QuickbooksResilience is key due to working with vulnerable people
