Job title: AccountantHours: Mon– Thurs 09.00– 17.30, Fri– 08.00– 16.30pmWorking pattern: 100% office basedLocation: Leatherhead, parking available on siteLength of assignment: 4–6 weeks with the potential to extend.I have taken a temporary role for a client in Leatherhead who has an initial need for an accountant for 4–6 weeks in their finance team, with a good chance of an extension. This is working for an engineering company, working in a small finance department. They are currently changing over from Sage 1000 to Sage 200 and are halfway through the process. They require someone to help with the remaining data transfer to enable all their records to be uniform in the new system when it goes live at the end of November.

As the accountant you will ideally have worked in a small finance team, been involved in changing over of system or at least have knowledge of Sage 200 or 1000. You will need to be able to get involved in the day–to–day workings including the sales and purchase ledger and dealing with queries alongside the more senior work relating to the system change over. You will also need to have excel knowledge as the information from Sage 1000 is initially downloaded into excel before this info is checked and correct for the new system.

Hours are– Mon– Thurs– 09.00– 17.30pm and 08.00– 16.30 on a Friday. This is 100% office based.

Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
