The role
Our client is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join their team as an Account Manager. You will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and exploring additional opportunities to expand their services. Your primary goals will be to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new avenues for upselling and cross-selling.

Task and responsibilities include
Understand your customer needs and future strategy and how they can be supported by our client’s products and services.Be the first point of contact as their trusted advisor.Support existing customers in an advisory capacity, including in-person visits to their locations.Study and report on customer data, collaborating with other teams to improve services.Build relationships with existing customers to identify new sales opportunities for their products and services as well as introductions within related organisations and departmentsManage the sales process with existing customers from identifying opportunities, creating proposals and finalising contracts.Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the public sector so that our customers can benefit from the latest strategies.Keep our CRM system up-to-date with opportunities in existing accounts and regularly share monthly reports with the Management Team.
Required experience
Minimum 2 years experience in an account management or sales roleExcellent relationship builder and networkerExcellent sales and negotiation skillsThe ability to thrive in a target driven environmentA proactive and customer-focused mindsetExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalA good multitaskerThe ability to problem solve
