You're a driven, self-motivated Account Manager, based along the central belt in Scotland, and proud of your networking / client management skills. You'll be a commercially driven, consultative individual selling bespoke and "off the shelf" products. We are open on your background although with us you'll be selling and partnering with both public and private hospital departments.
BASIC SALARY: GBP45,000 - GBP50,000

LOCATION: This is a field based role, you'll be covering Scotland, and ideally based along the M8 corridor, working from home, with the requirement to travel to our head office in Northampton once quarterly.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Account Manager - Healthcare (Public & Private)
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll be instrumental in the continued growth of the patch (cGBP700k last year). Building on strong foundations you'll network through each client to ensure where possible there are sales across the range. Your consultative, partnership style and approach will be key to your success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Account Manager - Healthcare (Public & Private)
Time split between 70% account management and 30% new business.
Managing, growing and networking through 100+ hospitals across Scotland.
Targeting Orthotic, Fracture, Physiotherapy clinics / departments, creating relationships with a range of clinicians and clinical specialisms.
New business focus on the private sector.
Conduct regular and targeted market activities using our CRM, continually growing and improving the accuracy and relevancy of the data.
Provide training on our stock and bespoke manufactured class II medical device products.
Organise and represent the company at Local and National Healthcare Trade shows.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Account Manager - Healthcare (Public & Private)
This Account Manager role requires a consultative solution sale, so you'll be able to ask the right questions to establish the clients needs and position our products in the most cost effective way possible. You'll have a genuine trusted advisor / partnership approach to your sales.
We're open to different business to business backgrounds/experiences, however, if you have knowledge of the NHS or particularly orthopaedics, orthotic, or rehabilitation this would be an added bonus, but, as long as your approach is customer centric, you'll fit right in!
You'll have the ability to:
Demonstrate how you have networked via existing clients to build new business, as well as experience in maintaining those accounts.
Exhibit a solution oriented, consultative approach, with credible and professional communication skills.
Evidence commercial awareness - the ability to negotiate pricing and ensure strategic goals are achieved.
Most importantly, you'll be pro-active and self motivated, with strong initiative, someone who's able to generate new business and follows up on opportunities.
