Role: Account Manager
Location: Homebased
Salary: up to GBP40k DOE + bonus + commission
Summary:
We are looking for an Account Manager to join a leading energy consultancy. This role will see you managing a portfolio of B2B customers ensuring contracted work is delivered to the best possible standard. You will be required to retain / renew customers within your portfolio, up and cross– selling other products, services and solutions where possible. As an Account Manager you will have experience in the energy industry, and used to building relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and will have knowledge of gas and electricity procurement and will be confident or have the potential in speaking to corporate/ I&C clients.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure the delivery of contracted services to clientsMaintain exemplary relationship with external stakeholdersDeliver best in class customer service to a range of clients,Understand the client's needs and establish network linksIdentify and solve any issues that clients may faceActively promote services and look for up and cross sell opportunitiesRenewals and retaining client accounts Skills and experience required:
Account/ relationship management experience within the energy sectorCorporate client management or someone with potential to liaise with I&C clientsCollege diploma or degree (preferably in Maths, Finance or Business studies)Language skills would be advantageous (French, German, or Spanish).Experience in negotiating and retaining/ renewing client accountsProven track record of commercial negotiationsGood level of analytical skillsGood listening and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritise and execute tasks time sensitive deliveries in a pressured environment
