You'll be tasked with driving growth in financial services by building relationships with prospective clients.
We're looking for a hungry, commercially minded person who can drive new business. You'll be familiar with the financial services industry and the nuances of different providers, asset classes etc, have carbon / sustainability knowledge and ideally exposure to SAAS.
Ideally London based, with a remit to close opportunities and grow the customer base across the UK, you will own an "account list" across financial institutions (VC, Private Markets, Asset Managers, Banks) and develop account plans to win and expand business with upper mid-market and Financial accounts.
Specifically you will lead customer facing activities including inbound lead triage, first contact, discovery calls, platform demos, follow-up communication, presenting solutions, coordinating internal resources, strategizing on proposals, and negotiating and closing sales.
What's more the successful incumbent will develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities, collaborate closely with the Marketing and SDR team to requalify the leads and work with company leaders from different functions (Sustainability, Engineering, Digital, Risk, etc.) to lead product workshops and presentations.
You will ensure that value is delivered to our clients' customers by collaborating with the sales engineering team and the success team to make sure value is delivered. You'll maintain an accurate CRM with information across the sales lifecycle and monitor your targets.
Applicants should have at least 4+ years of sales experience for Private or Institutional clients and have experience in a software-as-a-service environment with ESG data as a plus. Your benefit from knowledge of financial products, have an ability to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple business units across complex organizations and have expertise in understanding value creation based on customer needs with full sales cycle experience to include qualifying opportunities, strategic outreach, pitching solutions, RFP response management, developing and presenting proposals, running / coordinating technical workshops, negotiating contracts and closing sales. French is a bonus but not required.
