Account Broker - Commercial Insurance

Due to rapid growth, our client is looking for motivated individuals to join their successful team of Account Brokers.
Their newly refurbished office sits in the heart of Bristol which has been designed with their employee wellbeing in mind.
Key Responsibilities for the Role
Contact potential prospect companies periodically to identify key decision makers, renewal dates, and any other relevant information as requested. Ensure that prospects receive the requested information about the company promptly and in accordance with regulatory requirements. Thoroughly evaluate received proposal forms within the approved response time, verifying that they are complete, signed, and dated as required. Use objective judgment to select insurers that best serve the client's interests for presenting the proposal form.Dispatch the proposal form to the chosen insurers within the company's approved response time, either via email or during a broking meeting, when appropriate. Negotiate with insurers to secure the most favourable terms for the prospect, including both the premium charges and the policy coverage. Ensure that the insurance coverage offered by the insurers and presented to the prospect meets or exceeds the prospect's minimum regulatory standards and requirements regarding wording, excess, and limit of indemnity.Utilize only those insurers listed on the company's approved insurer's list. Provide the prospect with a written quotation, confirmation of acceptance, and No Claims Declaration using standardized company templates.Ensure that the quotation accurately reflects the insurer's terms and transparently specifies any additional fees charged. Meet achievable sales targets and regularly provide up-to-date sales figures, activity statistics, and other requested information to Managers and Directors for performance monitoring and development purposes.
