Description

At Geovation, we believe that entrepreneurs have the power to make the world a better place, and we're here to help them achieve that. We run market–leading accelerator programmes in Geotech and Proptech, connecting industry problems to start–up solutions, so that together we can have a positive impact on people, planet and profit. Geovation is a critical part of Ordnance Survey, the national mapping agency for Great Britain, and a world–leading geospatial data and technology organisation.

About the team

When you join Geovation, you join a community of over 1800 corporate innovators, entrepreneurs, developers and investors who all understand the power of location data. The team itself is based primarily at our London hub, where we have co–working desks, a beautiful events space and more coffee than you could ever wish for. We're all entrepreneurs at heart, passionate about what we do and love nothing more than seeing our start–ups succeed. We get things done, whether we find a way, or make a way.

About the role

We are looking for an Accelerator Programme Manager to lead the delivery of our Geotech and Proptech accelerator programmes. You'll be the main point of contact to our start–up cohort, helping them to navigate the highs and lows of entrepreneurial life, and ensuring they have a programme of activities that maximises their opportunity to grow and succeed. You'll lead the whole process from running the call and identifying the best start–up talent, to planning the programme and bringing in quality mentors, coaches and partners that help us to continuously improve our offering.

Key responsibilities:

Overall management of two Accelerator Programmes per year, managing startup relationships, scheduling, operations and programme communications

Alongside the Programmes Lead, curate a programme of activities for each cohort that aligns to their needs and gives them the best chance of success

Lead on the identification of Programme improvements to build on the successes of the past cohorts

Help to identify opportunities for the cohort to engage with Ordnance Survey and HMLR Subject Matter Experts

Help to improve diversity and inclusion on the accelerator and wider Geovation Community.

Manage existing programmes from the point of concept to delivery. Working with the Programmes Lead to align the Accelerator Programme with dynamic goals and objectives

Foster and create a strong sense of community amongst past, current and future startup cohorts

Capture and evaluate programme outputs and impact. Generate insights to share with internal and external partners

Assist Marketing, and other teams, with managing Geovation's external presence and marketing activities
