We have a pair of vintage decorative, original early victorian cast iron hob grate fire inserts.

Both inserts are beautifully forged featuring acanthus leaf designs above the grate and similar smaller designs to the top with a repeated pattern on the legs and the original front bars.

These inserts have there original Kite and registration marks dating between 1842-1867.

The fire inserts both have a stunning appearance and would make a wonderful statement piece within a period home.

These items are in vintage used condition with some rusting in certain areas and a piece of the lower face plate has rusted off but can be repaired, so please carefully look at all images provided.
