Vintage Banolin / Mandolin Banjo.

Top tensioner, very early model.

This banjolin looks awesome made with a variety of material.

Age I would guess 1920s or 1930s? As you can see from the tail piece and other hardware, it's a very early model and a top tensioner.

looks like the original velum and although showing signs of age, as it should be expected to be. Require one replacement string or a fresh set of mandolin strings

Pictures show that it could be restored a little and otherwise plays well tune to your tastes or similar to a mandolin. It has plenty of volume and is comfortable to hold and play. For an instrument of this age, around 100 years, it's in very good condition and apart from the tuning pegs, and maybe, the bridge, all else, to my knowledge, is original.
