After having driven this to our photoshoot, we want to share our experience on the road, there are four areas where this Vantage S excels; 1…the steering - it’s sharp and refined, 2…the throttle response from the V8 when in Sport mode - it’s quick yet civilised, 3…the fantastic NASCAR-like growl from the V8, 4…and the superior shift quality and control of the 7 speed Graziano gearbox, which is quite fantastic.

The quantum silver paintwork, provides a wonderful compliment to the obsidian black strathmore leather. Costing circa £105,000 new, it has circa £5000 worth of options including the Aston Martin 700w premium sound system and red brake callipers. One of our favourite features is the sports mode, which ensures an incredible driving experience when one is feeling enthusiastic.

This V8 S delights not just because of its ability to hit Mach 2, but it is rousing and exciting to drive, with a top speed of 189 mph, and 60 mph achieved in 4.5 seconds. In our opinion, this is one of the most charming sports cars you will ever drive and one of the best looking too.
