With its premises in Elland, West Yorkshire, WildAx builds a range of van conversions based on the Ford Transit Custom, Renault Master, Mercedes Sprinter and Citroën Relay. All of its conversions have European Whole Vehicle Type Approval and NCC (National Caravan Council) approval.

The Aurora is Citroën-based with 2.2-litre HdI 120bhp engine under the bonnet, matched to a six-speed gearbox.

Whichever size you choose, they both come with a rear fixed folding bed (said to measure 6ft 2in by 4ft 6in) that offers good under-bed storage that can be accessed from the rear, the front, or by lifting the bed up, which clips up in the vertical position.

If you would prefer to enjoy a rear lounge during the day then the Aurora Leisure layout (also available in the two lengths) features two side sofas (with storage below) that slide together to form a double bed.

The Leisure model also has side windows in the rear so you can see out when lounging. Both the Aurora and Aurora Leisure, in regular and XL form, have a seating/dining area up front that can be arranged into a single bed (said to measure 6ft long).

In the middle of the campervan is the kitchen, with a three-way fridge/freezer, three-burner hob, oven and grill, sink with a mixer tap and a flip-top bin.

Opposite is the washroom, which has a cassette toilet, shower, basin, mirror and roof vent/window.

All WildAx campervans are fully winterised, making them ideal for year-round camping. This is achieved by insulating the whole camper including water tanks, which have a 12V frost protection system installed. All models feature Truma iNet, enabling your Truma Combi to be controlled from an app on your phone.
