A super rare Transit 4x4 LWB High Roof van. This was supplied new to National grid and converted at great expense into a welfare or mess van. I bought the van two years ago with a plan to turn it into a campervan. I've been to busy to do it - so I'm selling it as it is. To make this a camper, all it needs is a bed- I was planning to fit a table at the seating area that could also be used to fill the gap between the two bench seats - stick a cushion on top and hey presto a double bed!! This could be made into a camper in a weekend! All of the expensive camper bits are already fitted- by professionals!

The van itself has been well looked after mechanically- it was serviced annually by NG, the last service they did was at 103214 miles in 2021. As I had planned to keep the van for myself - I treated the sills of the van to a protective coating and Waxoyl underneath for longevity. We had the van MOT'd in September this year- replacing the front wishbones, discs and pads + a few other bits. There are no advisories on the MOT. As the van's not had a service for a couple of years- we'll do an oil and filter change for the new owner (even though it's only covered 3600 miles in that time).

The bodywork isn't perfect, there are a few dents on the van. There's some glue residue on panels from the National Grid livery etc. There is a rear view camera that isn't working ( the screen in the cab powers up but no signal from the cam). Being such a rare and specialist vehicle- I suggest viewing is essential. We're open Mon to Fri 9-5. Weekends possible by appointment.
