Recently 'lent out' to a family friend and has just been returned with suspected Cam Chain Failure and VW Garage Diagnostic Report as follows:

"Carried out full fault scan and found multiple faults logged relating to engine missfires on cylinders 1-4, coolant temp sensor implausible, fan

restricted, intake manifold flap B1, cam position B1 slow response

large amount of engine oil and signs of coolant residue all over the engine

NSF wheel has excessive play in ball joint

OSF ball joint dust cover split

NSF tyre worn below legal limit

NSR shock leaking

top breather pipe broken and bolt missing, engine cover vacuum box leaking

checked engine timing and timing is off by roughly 3 teeth, new chain kit and gaskets advised before further investigation if needed as possible there

is engine damage."

Approx 95,000 miles on original engine.

Car located in Keston, Bromley.

Non running obviously so would need to be towed/trialered away.
