Engine:

EJ257 300bhp 2.5 4 cylinder boxer engine with a VF48 single scroll turbo. Last of the famous unequal length manifold models. Starts on the button, no leaks or weird noises. Only V-Power fuel used, pulls great throughout the rev range and delivers 27-37mpg.

Faults:

Very clean for the age with minimal age related ware, please see photos.

-Front bumper has a few stone chips and minor scratch on the passenger side

-Wheels have some curb marks

-Original Subaru registration plates could use a refresh

-Drivers side headlight washer cap is missing (Genuine replacement on hand, to be fitted before sale)

-Headunit double din is slightly smaller than standard insert, genuine new double din insert available, but would require minimal alternations. I considered reverting back to original stereo so decided to leave it as is.

I am a keen Subaru enthusiast, Engineer by trade and enjoy restoring classic cars. I’ve done my usual inspection and service and a mini restoration to make sure the car is future proof and key elements have been improved.
