A niche within a nook within a specialism. This is a motorbike, a small bike, a step-though, a Birdie. First released in 1973, this is the modern fuel injected version complete with electric start, telescopic forks, fully enclosed chain and spoked wheels. In red with cream leg covers, black engine, seat, chain guard, forks and handlebars it is very clean all over – please see the video. There is a bracket at the front and huge rear rack.
The Birdie is similar in line to Honda’s C50 and Yamaha’s Mate. Popular in its home country but a rare sight on UK roads.
Take wing on a New Birdie!
