More known for pretty much every other style of bikes, Honda has, nevertheless, made some absolutely cracking cruisers, not least of which is this 2008 Shadow Custom.

The Shadow was first released in 1997, ostensibly as a successor to the Steed, although the latter remained in production until 2001. The Shadow 400 was basically the little brother of the 750, almost identical except for the engine.

The smaller size makes it that much easier to handle, especially when pulling out of the café after a large lunch. The liquid cooled v-twin engine provides 31HP and this is the first year model to have fuel injection. It also comes with shaft drive, meaning less to clean and maintain. The spoked wheels have disc brakes at the front and drum at the rear.

Ours comes in burgundy and black and, other than a couple of marks on the top exhaust, is in absolutely stunning condition. The chrome gleams – not really surprising as it has only done about 8,230 miles. Please see the video on our Youtube channel.

This bike has been put through the NOVA system. The bike has been fully UK registered, this includes the Dating Certificate, MOT, Registration, UK log book and age related number plate.

A deposit of 30% will secure the bike, we would not ask for further payment until the bike is ready for collection or delivery. Once the deposit is received we will do a PDI check, re-MOT if the MOT has less than 6 months to run and valet the bike. If the customer cancels the sale we will refund 50% of the deposit. Road tax & insurance are your responsibility as the new keeper.
