JDM Import, 2.0-litre Engine, Dry and Clean Underside, Low Miles and Clean Throughout
This JDM Subaru Impreza WRX STi, unlike its UK counterpart, features the incredible 2.0-litre rally winning Subaru engine that we all love and enjoy. This makes it more flexible and linear with its torque compared to the UK's 2.5-litre version.
This one UK owner 2005 Hawkeye was imported to the UK in 2022 and has not been used since arriving. It has spent most of its life in Japan's warmer climate and it is especially clean throughout the interior and underside.
This Impreza features a striking design with a large boot spoiler, roof spoiler, bonnet scoop, STi badges, and gold Brembo brake calipers that sit inside 17-inch alloy wheels painted in gold, which Subarus are known for having. And with the car having less than 52,000 miles on the clock and being driven in Japan most of its life with dry and warm conditions, you can tell it feels and looks almost like new.
As for the inside, this car has a stunning and well-kept interior throughout. The half Alcantara seats are in good condition and have 'STi' embedded onto the front sport seats. The Alcantara continues around the inside onto the door trims, and there's also matching blue carpet and floor mats as well. It retains a high-level multi-function aftermarket Japanese touch screen infotainment system, but we will be happy to swap it with a UK double din system, if requested.
There's also air conditioning, rear heated window, electric windows and electric adjustable door mirrors. Plus, there's red stitching on the handbrake lever, gear knob and on the inside of the steering wheel to finish it all off.
This car sounds, drives and handles fantastically, as you'd expect from a car that's built by a rally winning manufacture. It has a six-speed manual gearbox, along with the legendary 2.0-litre turbocharged boxer engine. This Subaru has got loads of power and traction, too.
This is questionably the last generation of Subarus before the styling went downhill and it will date extremely well in the long-term future with its cutting edge and distinctive design.

About Us:
Our promise: “We ensure you’ll find your ideal classic car.”
Just moments from the M25, or a 23-minute train ride from London Liverpool Street and the City, our Fairmont Sports & Classics showroom team in Brentwood is committed to changing the way classic vehicles are bought and sold.
Classic models across the decades
Our stocklist – with new vehicles arriving daily – spans popular and iconic vehicles from the 60s through to the late 90s and beyond.
Over two floors we present a curated selection of more than 50 sports and classic cars – plus several motorcycles – all fully inspected, checked and ready to drive away, delivered, or shipped overseas.
We buy well so you’re not at risk
The buying team comprises seasoned motor industry professionals: our backgrounds span retail sales, fleet management, auction, wholesale, and service, inspection and maintenance. Having grown up with, driven and loved countless classics ourselves, we know what our customers look for: models and marques piquing current market interest; examples that are in excellent usable condition and order; and vehicles that represent a sound, good value investment.
An online portal search for any classic model will list several hundred vehicles across the UK. The unfortunate truth is that the vast majority, under scrutiny, will prove sub-standard, misrepresented or require uneconomic restoration or repair. Finding a good vehicle without motor trade experience is not for the faint-hearted.
We purchase our cars from private owners, collections and specialist auction houses. We are exceptionally selective about which vehicles we buy, when and why; we reject over 90% of all those we see. Those we purchase match varying customer demands: ‘best in market’ and fully original; fully or partially restored examples; and sound, practical, fun classics to be driven and enjoyed.
Whether you’re an investor, an enthusiast, or simply keen to recapture your youth, we’d love to help you find your ideal classic.
Warranty:
We want every customer to be confident in their purchase. Whilst we sell nationwide, many of our sales are local, with some customers revisiting to buy, sell or service more vehicles.
To ensure a worry-free motoring experience, we include our own pre-owned vehicle warranty and provide full servicing and support on-site.
The price of every car includes a six-month warranty for major component failure: engine, transmission, and final drive. For the first three months, it covers the cost of any essential parts and labour. Thereafter we provide a 50% discount on any essential parts and labour for the remaining three.
We also operate our own on-site workshop offering specialist classic vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs. The same mechanics that inspected and prepared your vehicle for sale will be delighted to keep it in good working order throughout your ownership.
