Mechanical Condition:

This generation of SL with 3.7 litre V6 engine and 5 speed gearbox are renowned for their mechanical reliability and this genuine , low mileage example is no exceptional. The engine and gearbox are extremely smooth and operate exactly as they should with no warning lights on the dashboard after extended test drive. Significant money spend on new springs, shock absorbers etc in 2022 with invoice so no costly hidden issues, no air suspension on this example. Premium Michelin Pilot Sport tyres all round, another sign this car has been maintained to a high standard. New starter battery May 2023. Exterior Condition:

Presented in Brilliant Silver with inch wheels this is an attractive SL in excellent cosmetic condition for the year. There is no visible rust to the wheel arches etc. There are no scuffs to bumpers, car park dents or other significant marks. There is no excess chipping to front end. The wheels are in very clean condition with no ingrained dirt or curbing damage. There is no fading of the headlights and the car is in very good condition all round. Interior Condition:

The Basalt Grey Leather with complimenting Black Leather and Burr Walnut makes for a classic Mercedes interior environment. This car has never been smoked in or used to carry pets and there are no lingering smells. The leather is all in good order with no ingrained dirt or excess wear damage. Likewise the carpets are all clean with no ingrained dirt or wear damage. The engine bay is impressively clean, likewise all door shuts. The boot area is clean also with no stains. A particularly good example throughout with good provenance and service history.
