The classic Martin 000-28 belongs to Martin's 28-series of guitars. Like all 28s the 000-28 features Rosewood back and sides which typically yields a rounder sound than their Mahogany counterparts in the 18-series.

This example is in very good condition for age, with minor wear and blemishes (many of which are invisible unless bouncing light on the surface as we have done to exaggerate them on the pics) and some light scratches etc on the reverse. It has some fretwear on a few of the frets, but purely cosmetic and no causing any playability issues - and the blemishes on the back of the neck are very shallow and can't be felt when playing.

The premium specs include a Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, a comfortable Mahogany neck with slim profile, Ebony fingerboard, sealed tuners, an Ebony bridge and chainlink pinstripe on the reverse. It has been upgraded with a quality Tusq nut but the original is included in the case.

It sounds fantastic whether unplugged or amped and features the LR Baggs iBeam Active system, with control at the soundhole.

Finally it comes complete with its original deluxe hardshell case and original tags/paperwork.
