The time has come to part with my Tuscan. I have owned the car for 4. 5 years and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It's a thrilling machine and I can't think of another car for the money that offers the same driving experience.
The car is immaculate, hopefully the pictures convey this. There are of course a couple of marks as you should expect, however it has been looked after fastidiously in my time and from the condition and the history file, it is clear the 3 previous owners gave it the same care.
The car had a full paint correction and ceramic coating applied by Knight Detailing in Devon last year.
The car was given a TVR powers engine warranty only 10000miles ago, when the owner previous to me purchased it. The car was physically looked at by them and warrantied. This warranty was only valid for the previous owner however is a sign the engine is in good order.
Since then I have used Jon at Purbeck Sports Cars every year for service and MOT. Jon is an ex TVR tech from Westover Sports Cars who were the TVR dealer in Poole that supplied this car. He has always commented on the condition of the car and never suggested anything about a rebuild.
The car has been to the continent twice in my ownership, both without issue. I actually worked in Germany last year and had the TVR with me from July-October, this included a long weekend at the Nurburgring where the car done 5 laps of the Nurburgring Grand Prix track and then 7 in total of the famous Nordschleife - the risk was kept low but I had a great time and kept up with some much more expensive machinery when appropriate.
To conclude; this is a great car and I will be sad to move it on but I have a list of things I'd quite like to own so I think the time to change is now.
My work schedule can be tricky but I will be based in Devon until March, any inspections are welcomed and I am happy to discuss the car in more detail anytime. I have literally thousands of photos of the car so if there's something you'd like to see, I probably have it...!
