A THIMBLE IS NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS!!!

These are really pretty, seasonal Thimbles. They are Fine Bone Chinas thimbles, made in England, and sold by 'The Thimble Guild'. Both are white china, marked inside with 'Bone China, England, and a crown' and 'Fine Bone China, England'. They are both tapered, but one is more slender, with a flatter top, tapering to a slightly flared base. The other is stouter, with a higher, more domed top, tapering to a slightly moulded base. Both are just over 2½ cms high.

Both thimbles are in the 'Royal' style, with a heavily gilded, dimpled, top. The stouter thimble is then covered in a design of Mistletoe and Holly sprigs, with berries. There is some gilding to the leaves. The other has a lovely rich, dense, covering of Holly leaves, both green, and yellow-variegated, with berries.

The Thimbles were purchased new, and one (the stouter thimble) comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. They unused, unmarked and in pristine condition - look at my photos.

I am selling a number of very collectable THIMBLES, of various materials, purchased several years ago from The Thimble Guild. Many have Certificates of Authenticity or the original receipt. If that is included, the price reflects it.
