It’s not too early to mention Christmas is it? Well, shucks, I’ve said it now. This is a very special little scooter that would make a superb stocking filler.

This is the 1998 Honda Dio 50 ZX. The original Honda Dio came out in Japan in 1988 and was an immediate success. Like all Honda scooters it was quiet, compact and reliable but Dio had a sportier look that appealed to the younger market. The nose was sharp and shark-like and the overall look was sleek. The single cylinder air-cooled two-stroke engine was quick and the power delivery smooth.

On the ZX model Honda upped the sportiness factor with a larger muffler increasing the intake/exhaust efficiency, a disc front brake, halogen lights and a tail fin.

So why would this be a great Christmas present? Well, it’s a great little scooter to start with. Plus the condition is excellent. Plus it’s already 25 years old, so heading towards classic status. Plus it’s only done 3,561km – 2,211 miles from new. This is a super find and will make someone (or yourself) extremely happy. A practical, fun little runabout and something to treasure at the same time. There has to be room under your tree for this cracker.

This bike has been put through the NOVA system. Registration can be arranged for a fee of £165, this includes the Dating Certificate, MOT, Registration, UK log book and age related number plate.

We can deliver, please confirm your postcode for a quote. Delivery/Collection can take place either after the MOT (while waiting for the log book) or once the log book has been received. The motorcycle cannot be ridden on the public highway until the bike is registered and fitted with its number plate. Road tax & insurance are your responsibility as the new keeper.

A deposit of 30% will secure the bike, we would not ask for further payment until the bike is ready for collection or delivery. If the customer cancels the sale we will refund 50% of the deposit.
