This custom 1992 Land Rover Defender 90 is powered by a complete
matching-numbers drivetrain, including a 2.5-liter 200 TDi engine
backed by a 5-speed manual transmission and original LT77 gearbox.
The engine was fully serviced and rebuilt with a new timing belt,
spill-off pipes and timing cover seals. All electrical harnesses
were repaired or replaced, including a new rear chassis harness.
Restoration details included being stripped to the frame,
ultrasound tested, repaired and painted with corrosion-resistant
sealer. Suspension upgrades included new heavy-duty shock
absorbers, Gorilla bar steering links and drop-arm conversion to
accept heavy-duty greaseable ball joint, new steering damper, new
bushings, heavy-duty greaseable A-frame pivot and bolts. Range
Rover Classic axles were used for disc brakes all around with new
brake lines and calipers. It's equipped with fully rebuilt rear
axle hubs with new stub axles, a front axle rebuilt with
professionally refurbished differential, extra heavy-duty weld-on
differential pan and new swivel hubs. It features rebuilt wheel
hubs and new front prop shaft. This vehicle is equipped with a
heavy-duty aluminum Bowler racing front steering guard with towing
eyes. The exterior features a new skeleton bumper complete with LED
daytime running lights, smoked gray LED lamps and headlights
upgraded to clear halogen lamps, as well as heavy-duty rock sliders
under both door sills for additional off-road protection. The rear
tub was rebuilt, and this Land Rover also has all-new external body
skins and crossmember mounting. It was repainted in Arctic White
with black accents and rides on new modular wheels wrapped in new
Maxxis Wormdrive AT 265/70 R16 tires. This features new OEM-style
fender flares on all four corners. Body cappings, door and hood
hinges were powder-coated for longevity. It features a genuine
Defender Puma hood for a more modern appearance. It features new
windscreen, new rubber seals on the rear window glass and door
seals. The floor, seatbox and bulkhead are fitted with
sound-deadening and finished with black carpeting. This vehicle
also features stainless-steel and aluminum carpet trims and seat
box protection. This Land Rover features new Puma-style dashboard,
Carling switches, Bluetooth audio unit supporting MirrorLink for
Apple and Android with backup camera. The interior is finished in
custom black and Cream leather seats with a deluxe center console
with a new MOMO Nero steering and new console gauges with new
speedometer unit in miles per hour. This also features upgraded
bolt on door cards, new waist seals and side mirrors, and solid
billet aluminum Optimill external door handles. The rear plain load
bay features a sprayed-in black bed liner finished with a genuine
Land Rover full rubber mat. It also features a heavy-duty
swing-away spare wheel with gas strut door holder and custom
