When Toyota replaced the legendary FJ40 series Land Cruiser with
the FJ70/75, those models did not come to the U.S. market. The
private importation from the gray market, however, has provided a
proper pipeline of such vehicles into the U.S. The selling dealer
reports that this 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ75 pickup has been
through a complete body-off restoration, as documented with
numerous photos, including those shown below. The FJ75 Land Cruiser
pickup used the 3F version of Toyota's venerable OHV inline six.
This model continued the rugged capability of its predecessor,
including part-time four-wheel drive with dual-range transfer case,
but added a much upgraded interior. This FJ75's restoration took
that theme further with deluxe upholstery featuring Toyota's modern
logo. The vehicle also has a modern touch-screen infotainment head
unit with rear camera display.
