This 1974 Volkswagen 23-window microbus was comprehensively
restored by the A&J Revival team in Brazil. It is powered by an
upgraded rebuilt and performance-enhanced 1500cc 4-cylinder engine
coupled to a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission with a new shift
lever. Engine upgrades include an aluminum crank pulley, an
adjustable tensioner and alternator pulleys, complemented by a
custom air filter. The suspension, steering and braking systems
have been revitalized using new original Volkswagen parts. The
electrical system underwent a comprehensive overhaul, transitioning
to a 12-watt system with a new alternator, voltage regulator and
battery. The microbus' frame and bodywork were rotisserie-restored
before the new two-tone paint in Lotus White and Iguau Green was
applied. This bus features a retractable panoramic canvas sunroof
and eight skylight windows. It retains the VW logo, front grille,
side mirrors, headlight grilles and windshield wiper arms, which
were all newly replaced, emphasizing authenticity. Inside the
cabin, a new custom interior in Ivory White and beige, including
door panels and a headliner, exudes elegance. Original seats,
reconditioned with new foam and springs, are covered in Ivory White
and beige synthetic leather, featuring standard VW stitching. With
a capacity for nine passengers, the microbus offers a spacious and
comfortable ride. Luggage racks at the rear and front, coupled with
a retractable steel and wood ladder, add both functionality and
retro vintage flair. It rides on original painted steel wheels with
authentic German VW chrome hubcaps. ** PREVIEW
